THE HOLY GHOST IS GOD

HOW DOES JESUS KNOW THE THOUGHTS OF MEN?

I marvel once again at the total utter rejection of God by men. They have set up their own god via cosmological evolution. It was hard to sit through one of the presentations called “Stars”.  The presentation was utter propaganda in support of the outright rejection of the word of God.  This didn’t surprise me but I was curious to see what they are teaching children and adults alike.

Some of the first words out of the presenters mouth was a quotation from Carl Sagan.  I realized at that point that the next 45 minutes would be torture.  

Why did we not walk out?  I had a few reasons but the main reason was as I stated above, what are they teaching people.  I do not recommend anyone going there with out their discernment radar being turned on to high alert. 

When ever I go out to Vancouver to visit my family I have always refused to go to the planetarium because it teaches such horrible things.  

What spurred me on to go to the planetarium was an interesting time my wife and I had at a bed and breakfast on the Oregon coast.  The first morning on the coast my wife and I had breakfast with a couple  from Britain that were also staying at the bed and breakfast.  We discovered that the husband was a cosmology professor in Britain.  

Another thing we discovered is that this professor was a man in which I had seen before.  I asked him if he had ever given any lectures on video.  He said yes.  I then told him I had seen some of his lectures on the internet.  I also had watched him in a debate in which I remember him losing but I guess thats debatable.  

It was very strange to be sitting across the table from a guy in whom I had seen some years ago when studying into the whole heliocentric vs tychonian planetary models of the universe.

My wife asked the professor an interesting question which went something like...If you could sum up all your learning into a few short sentences what would you tell us?  His answer...”Life is always full of surprises”.   I then answered him by saying, “yes life is full of surprises. We might just find out one day that there really is an ether”.  All I can say is that I would have loved to have had a picture of him in that moment because the look on his face was pricelessly confused.  Cosmologists do not believe that there is an ether.  

I would have loved to have shared with them the gospel if there would have been more time.  Maybe that is my fault because after my “ether” comment it made an end to the breakfast.  Hopefully I will be more wise the next opportunity that the Lord Jesus gives me.

Ephesians 6:10 - Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and the power of his might.  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand…

Something I wrote a few years ago in response to a person in the Alliance church that told me straight up the scriptures were not interpretable and not culturally relevant in todays time.

His grandpa was a Roman Catholic Shriner Freemason.  I cannot prove that he was the same persuasion as his grandpa but most of the things that I saw from his fruit says that he is, a Pretender…

The Holy Scriptures(The Bible) can be understood?

This might seem like a dumb question, but in these times it seems to come up a lot.  The Bible is very clear that it can be interpreted by those who are spiritual but for those who are not they cannot understand (1 Corinthians 2:10-16).  Paul also reveals to the Ephesians in Chapter three that we can know and understand what Paul writes about concerning the mystery of Christ.  

The gospel message would surely be a mystery to someone who refuses to have faith in Jesus; and believe what the apostles, the prophets and Jesus himself proclaimed.  In fact 2 Corinthians 2 makes it unmistakably clear that to those who have eternal life it is like a sweet perfume; and to those that are perishing it is the taste and smell of death.

There are many so-called Christians today that don’t understand the word of God; when in fact these assumed Christians may not believe at all.  Everyone wants to belong in some way or another but believing in Christ Jesus is not an inclusive social club.  Jesus shed blood on the cross is the only way a sinner can have remission of sins (Hebrew 9:22); one must repent and turn to Jesus by this grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8). 

Many professing Christians in these times “go to church” as a way to to belong to a system with good morals or a way to have a social outlet.  The problem with Christianity  being a social outlet is that the focus turns from God to each-other and essentially; self.  Paul covered this last days selfishness with Timothy in 2 Timothy Chapter 4; where people would turn away from sound doctrine and gather around them teachers to itch their ears.  Sound familiar!?  Many Christians are now saying that the Bible is just a story; nothing more and nothing less.  This is, however, not in harmony with what the Bible teaches.  Again, Paul, writing to Timothy in 2 Timothy 4 writes that we are to preach the word; and this word is able to reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all long suffering and doctrine.  If the Bible “supposedly” cannot be interpreted,  why does the scriptures say that one can.  And not only interpret but be used for long suffering and doctrine. 

In the Old Testament, Hilkiah the priest, came across the book of the Law.  It was then read to King Josiah.  After king Josiah heard what was written in the Law he tore his clothes in despair.  For Judah had not been following Gods word.  Sound familiar!?  The law was then read to all the people from the greatest to the least.  How was this old book that for years Judah did not follow; now contemporary?  Not only was the word contemporary; king Josiah made them stand to it.  There is now a new covenant that was made with the blood of Jesus Christ; but somehow many presumed Christians cannot be taught objective sound doctrine from the one in which shed that blood.

Does evading what the Bible says about objective truth and doctrine of that truth, somehow make the word of God less authoritative and untruthful?  Are not people making the Bible articulate how they want it to be perceived? People want to avoid following anyway that is contrary to their own; so they can continue in their wicked ways.

Ezra the scribe in Nehemiah Chapter 8 stood up and read the book of the law and with the help of some of the other men and levites they caused the people to understand.  Specifically in verse 8 of Chapter 8 of Nehemiah it says, “So they read in the book of the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.” 

Christians in these times need to learn to know their creator and become like him more  than ever (Colossians 3:10).  Instead it is becoming clear that professing Christians are reducing the truth of Gods revealed word into subjectivity.  This is a tragedy!  In Ephesians 5:9-14 it says, “(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable to the Lord.  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.  For it is a shame even to speak of these things which are done of them in secret.  But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light.  Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.”

Where is the truth?  Where is the righteousness?  Where is the goodness?  People in these last days want to have goodness but seem to sacrifice truth to get it.  Christians are pretending to be righteous but selfishness and the love of this world is transparent for those that are awake and discerning.  Time and time again idol worship is the focus of what Christians give their hearts over to.  Entertainment that is full of sin and depravity is passed off as good; but no one says anything for fear of being called “legal”, “out of date”, “out of touch”, “hypocrite”, “judgy”... This is not what is taught in 2 Timothy 2:15 where it says, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

If truth is divided correctly; can one not know what is right and what is wrong?  In this age, countless people are calling evil good and good evil (Isaiah 5:20).  This is because professing Christians have turned away from God’s word and some claim it cannot be interpreted; it is just a good moral subjective story.  Blasphemy!  

In the words of Joel the prophet, “Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rent your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.”

Freemasons, Shriners, Royal Arch

I had posted awhile ago about a Royal Arch Freemason who also was a elder at a local Presbyterian church.  Below is the picture of the man I found in the obituaries.

The local lodge is very close to where I live which is a reminder to me on a daily basis that there is a real presence of Freemasonry within our small city.  The Masonic veneer is something that has increasingly sickened me.  Anything from their charity to make themselves look good to how they present themselves to the masses.  It is the falsehood that gets to me.  I know that they are not Christians and the Lord will judge them but I also recognize that there is a real mission field there as well.  

When I think of the Wa Wa Shriners some of the images that come to mind are old guys driving little cars around  in parades; emphasizing the societies more elderly membership.  I do not think I have seen a young Wa Wa Shriner.  Well… that idea I had about Shriners being old was obliterated a few days ago when I was at a local coffee shop

The fraternity is obviously adding much younger men to their arsenal.  It aggravates me a little since I am aware of the younger generation being indoctrinated with the intrigue of these secret societies.  Now we will have young easy to manipulate die hards that will believe and obey anything they are told.  

I don't know this young man.  I don't know his story.  I do know that he is a Freemason and most likely by his hat a Wa Wa Shriner.  What made him want to get into this life?  I can only assume.  What is clear is that becoming a master mason and a Wa Wa Shriner at such a young age he would have to be ambitious.  I prayed in the coffee shop that if it was the Lord's will that he would be given the acknowledgement of repentance.  I also pray for others that are deceived and manipulated by this satanic system of so-called brother hood and that they would see the truth of the gospel in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ,
